Open Mind Studios is a small, women-owned agency. We are a hard-working bunch that likes to get hands-on and learn as much about you and your project as we can. Our designers manage projects from start to finish; there are no intermediary account folks to communicate through. We want you to think of us as part of your team, but understand you need to get to know our team first.
Marci ZINK
Partner & Business Manager
Marci has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Marci is also a yoga instructor at YogaLoft.
Shannon Muench
Creative Partner
Originally from the picturesque Mississippi Valley, Shannon traded in the big river for our big lake to join Open Mind Studios on the shores of Lake Michigan. With over 20 years of graphic design experience, she is the creative lead behind Open Mind Studios.
When she’s not creating visually stunning designs, she renews her inspiration by getting away from the computer and getting hands-on spending time outdoors, gardening, quilting or playing games. Her most cherished time is spent alongside her husband and two sons, who provide unwavering support, encouragement, and entertainment.
Melanie Graff
Senior Designer
Melanie’s history with Open Mind Studios began in 2005. Her prior experience includes designing for a small firm in Chicago and a large advertising agency in Iowa. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drake University.

Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys interests that currently include traveling, ice skating, cooking, knitting, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
